This document examines key data collected through the Gran Encuesta Integrada de Hogares (GEIH), a nationally and regionally representative source. It begins with the study’s objectives, followed by a general framework on job training. It then details the survey methodology and presents data on job training, expectations by educational level, and the relationship between labor activity and course topics. Finally, the reflections highlight that 42% of students take courses to improve their work performance, but 17% do not achieve results. Additionally, 70% of students in these courses are employed in the formal sector, and a disconnect is observed between course topics and the students’ work activities.
