This document provides a detailed analysis of the educational proposals presented by candidates for mayoralties and governorships for the 2024-2027 term. The methodology of the analysis comprised several stages: first, territorial government plans were requested from the electoral registry; then, a documentary review of 50 plans in 23 territories was carried out to extract education-focused proposals from 28 mayoral and 22 gubernatorial candidates; next, a quantitative evaluation was conducted to determine the weight of educational proposals within each plan and their priorities; subsequently, a qualitative evaluation was performed to identify aspects mentioned by the candidates in eight thematic areas, such as access and coverage, retention, quality, early childhood, infrastructure, financing, teachers and directors, and education for work and human development. Finally, based on these analyses, suggested alternatives were established that should be included in the plans of upcoming administrations.
