This paper discusses the challenges faced by the education sector as a result of the pandemic. Based on a survey carried out by the Entrepreneurs for Education Foundation in collaboration with the World Bank, it is highlighted that the most worrying aspects for principals and teachers are support for families, continuity of learning, evaluation and management of social and emotional aspects. These findings underscore the importance of addressing both the technological and emotional needs of educational communities in an unprecedented context.
